The reason that most vitamins and medicine are packaged in similar packaging like YOOT tea bottles, is that vitamins and nutrients are generally sensitive to the effects of light and air. Many nutrients are known to be specifically vulnerable to degradation by UV light and a slight change in the molecular structure of a nutrient can render it biologically ineffective. We want you to enjoy all the health properties of our medicinal herbal and root teas in their natural flavor and color, as nature intended.

All three of our herbal and root tea blends - Dandelion Root, Licorice Root, and Prickly Ash - are shelf stable unopened and can be refrigerated for two weeks after opening.
